Hi, my name is Rod and I live on the east coast of Australia. I have created this site primarily as a learning exercise, but hopefully I’ve have content that will be found interesting, or even useful. This site is devoted to my interests, or indulgences as my wife likes to call them. My interests include weather watching, flying model rockets, Lego construction, astronomy, astrophotography, and musical instruments.

When I’m not amusing our kids, playing with our dogs or indulging in one interest or another I can generally be found at Qvalent where I fund my interests by slaving away as an Oracle database administrator. If you would like to discuss any of the content of my website, feel free to contact me here.
